I have played several different brand new poly balls for a while.
From double fish, DHS, Yasaka, Donic, YinHe(Galaxy), XuShaoFa, Nittaku Premium 40+. All are 3 star and new material balls.
Here is what I found, Nittaku Premium 40+ is still the best ball among all poly balls. However, its quality is still quite far behind its old 40mm balls. Just look at the the surface of the balls. You often see some balls do not have smooth surface, the inconsistent surface may not affect the bounce, but overall you still feel kind of quality problem.
Recently, I have been playing YinHe quite often because this ball was identified as the official ball in one recreational tournament . The level of the tournament is not low, there are players at USATT 2400 level, some are just 1000 level. I am about 1900-2000 level.
Here is what I feel about this ball after playing a few weeks. This ball is fast, and hard, its even faster and harder than Nittaku Premium 40+, very close to the old 40mm ball in terms of the speed/bounce. The only part is that it is slightly less spin than those poly balls that are constructed with two pieces( the extra weight on the connection line make them keep the spin longer). However, the difference is not big.
The ball is also very heavy duty, and consistency in terms of quality. Each everyone pretty much exact same (my experience is that double fish has the worst consistency, and DHS is the 2nd worst in term of quality consistency).
Also the sound from hitting the rubber is also nice.
XuShaoFa ball has same type of construction, its as durable as YinHe(Galaxy), but it is too heavy, and tone of the sound is not as pleasant as from the YeHe.
I also weighted a few brand balls.
Here are what I found.
XuShaoFa: Most of them are 2.9g.
YinHe: 80% are 2.8g and 20% are 2.7g

I bought pack of 6 and been playing the very first ball for about a month so far, 2 hrs every weekday. I've challenged my co-workers to break the ball with their hardest stroke but they had no luck yet...Durability is outstanding on these balls and best price as well!!

Very cheap and very durable. The cheapest 3 star ball in the market. I play 3 - 4 times a week and my 1st Yinhe ball last for two months. Not bad for a China made ball.

yinhe 3star are the best balls without doubt. low price and most durable than any other ball. xushaofa and yinhe are equally durable.
