Description of Butterfly Korbel SK7

The KORBEL SK7 is an attacking blade that offers a relatively soft and controlled feeling even at high speed. All wood 7-ply blade, heavy, but the weight is concentrated in the handle, well balanced. It is the ideal answer for playing without the need to use refresh gluing.

Feel: Medium

All wood 7-ply blade, heavy, but the weight is concentrated in the handle, well balanced. Quite stiff but with a very soft touch.
Very good control in blocks and drive, powerful enough for loopkills.
Quite good for slow topspin.
It's a blade for allround attackers.

Fast blade, faster than the Petr Korbel blade. It's quite soft and is well suited for versatile attacking play.
Review Frogger said this on October 29, 2009:

Nice blade from Butterfly. Stiff but soft touch for the ball. Great control for a 7ply blade. This blade shines in mid distant power exchanges. Heavy but in a good way with most of the weight in the handle so doesn't feel like a log. The handle design is very nice looking and pro grade. A great blade from Butterfly.

The korbel sk7 is a very well balanced blade. Because the weight is concentrated on the handle, any set up (especially chinese rubbers) tend to feel lighter. Allaround play leaning towards Off can be easily achieved because of its high control. So controllable w/ a great balance between speed, the user can easily play a soft game or rev it up and attack with fast speed. Aside from its performance it is also a very nice looking blade. So nice even retailers increased their prices $7 more(orig: $63).

It's a amazing blade !!!
the problems are heavy and thin handle (Flared).
Review Joni said this on November 20, 2010:

Great blade but I feel slow (maybe because of the rubber: Sriver EL and Mark VAD?). Korbl SK7 is good blade for allround attacker. Soft feel.

it is a excellent blade takes a bit of time to get use to it but its worth taking the time to get use to it

but i dunno what rubbers suit it so any help will be helpful
Review Duran1 said this on April 27, 2011:

Very nice blade. Little faster than Korbel but has a soft feel, which is perfect for my liking. Very good spin from my setup (2x T05) and still enough rigidity for hitting high balls consistently. I think this is the perfect wood blade but it may be too heavy for some. Mine is 95 grams but for me it is no trouble. It is soft, but fast, and has good feeling and enough rigidity to hit balls.
Review korbel SK7 said this on June 12, 2011:

its a good blade for long hours of play becouse of its consistency but its quite slow in critical hours (long rallyes AWAY from the table) anyway its a very good blade for an all wood one
Review powerlefty said this on October 10, 2011:

This, rigid, soft and slow. A poor replacement for a Butterfly clipper wannabe. The sad thin is that is costs more money and does not exceed it in anyway.

Blade yg sangat bagus. Cukup cepat dan kontrol tinggi. Dipasangkan dengan karet dg berkecepatan tinggi dan spin tinggi, akan jadi kombinasi yg sangat baik !!
