Reviews of the Butterfly Petr Korbel

Review pongmaster said this on March 25, 2008:

One of the classic wooden ply offensive blades. Perfect for power looping and blocking. Also one of the cheaper blades on the market.
Review asr1990 said this on March 27, 2008:

this blade is excellent, one of the best Off blades out there, it is at the lower end of Off or it is Off-/All+
it is good close to the table looping and driving and provides good dwell time and is pretty good away from the table as well

goes great with the following: Sriver EL, Bryce, Bryce FX

This is a great firt offensive blade, its fast but not too fast and has reasonable touch and control for precision shots and serves. Its not heavy or light, great for looping, prety goo driving too. choping seems to pop up a bit but if you wana chop why buy an offensive blade.
Review gatisubbu said this on April 3, 2008:

Very reliable blade for since few years. I used this blade for 3 years and enjoyed the control on the ball. Suitable for medium and fast rubbers. Good grip and convenient for both FH & BH
Review DeathAngel said this on April 5, 2008:

This blade is very good for someone getting into more of an offensive style and packs a punch with hard hits but controlls very well also.
Review caigichaduoc said this on May 2, 2008:

Right behind the bottom of Off+ category. For a bit sacrifice in speed, you'll receive a tremendous amount of control. The blade is relatively stiff due to the hard and deeply pressed handle, however the dwell time is still long enough due to the thinness. The thinness contributing with the heavy head make this blade a series killer by topspin strokes. More control than Clipper, better performance in topspin than Clipper, just not as nice as Clipper's feeling and handle.
Review kevin_405 said this on October 6, 2009:

I used to play with LKT Instinct which was great for control but a bit on the slower side..

I went through 2 baldes before i found a more offensive replacement in this blade.

This blade is really thin 5.9 mm.. That gives it great control and a split 2 sec extra to play your shots.... Although it is a 5 ply the center ply is pretty thick which also adds to the control.

With the control there is no compromise on the speed.. It is pretty fast.. for a Off - to off game..

Best blade for a beginner to intermediate player, looking to learn or play offensive..

Well worth the 50$

A great classic blade. It goes really well with srivers for a controlled attacking game
Review Best99 said this on November 5, 2009:

This blade is quite fast, but lacks a bit of consistency. That´s why it's sometimes hard to loop without feeling that it flexes more than usual. If you want a faster blade with more consistncy, try the Primorac Carbon.
Review DreiZ said this on December 15, 2009:

Great OFF- blade. Its very similar to Primorac OFF- but this one is a bit harder and stiffer. It still has plenty of control balanced with speed for an attacking/allaround game. Very comfortable handle in ST, a bit heavy but easy to get used to (around 95g).

I used petr corbel and enjoy with my game,
great blade from BTY but this classic blade.
the faster and more control, suitable for allroud attacker.
in glue ban era i think corbel SK7 is better
Review Shiro said this on July 31, 2010:

A very good blade for either speed or control.
Review hurricane3 said this on August 30, 2010:

Good allround to offsensive blade for the price. Little consistence issue, control was not great but ok. If you are looking for a fast, offensive blade with very good control, you need to search further.

Great classic well known wooden blade. Cheap. Nice structure. Best for close to table attack. Fast for power looping. Good feel and control. Very comfortable straight handle. Little head heavy but still acceptable.
Review sb666 said this on March 27, 2011:

This is a very good blade for looping. I used it with tenergy 05 1.9mm rubbers and with xiom vega europe max rubbers. The topspin was incredible with these lasts, looping is very good even from higher distances from the table. Short game, blocks and smash is o.k but for this kind of play there are better blades. It could be a bit harder imo. Maybe with koto outer plies would be this blade better.
Review rabbi-D said this on May 12, 2011:

good fit for euro/jap rubbers / poor fit for chinese tackys.

for beginners and imtermediate players it is somewhat hard to play consistently with it, conversely, advanced players love the control and consistency in offensive play.

speedwise between OFF and OFF-
Review the comodore said this on June 1, 2011:

Es genial para el juego de Tp de derecha, y reves cerca de la mesa, tiene un control para bolas cortas muy facil que hace jugar mejor dentro de la mesa esas bolas, pero donde se ve que destaca es en el juego de media distancia a base de top spin.
Review powerlefty said this on October 10, 2011:

Very average blade. Slim handle and very head heavy. Better off with Stiga or DHS.
Review conan thun said this on January 22, 2012:

i use this on my school team with andro rocket had and butterfly sriver el preety good at defencing
Review ttgamer said this on February 9, 2012:

Love this blade at the moment. The handle is thinner than most blades and this is very noticeable, but (I think) easier and more comfortable to play with. I use this blade with Joola Energy x-soft 2.0 on both sides and can't seem to find any fault with it. Also, the feel is great on both short touches and long drives or loops. For an offensive blade, chopping is reasonably controlled too.
Review Jonri said this on February 19, 2012:

Very good blade and price, speed and control is amazing, power loop is what i like it. I use tenergy 25 and makV xs on backhand..Simply amazing.
Review Majk said this on March 24, 2012:

Very nice control, average speed and low price...very nice blade...I dont like the narrow handle, its the biggest disadvantage...I dont recommend it for "big hand" players, but I recommend it for everyone else
Review ma_long_bg said this on June 5, 2012:
