Description of Donic Waldner Lagonda

DONIC WALDNER LAGONDA When one produces a table tennis blade with hard outer plies it usually results in a fast blade. So far so good. Nevertheless it is extremely difficult to find the right balance between power and control. Swedish blade manufacturers are renowned as masters of their craft. The solution with the new DONIC blade lies in the use of thin, very hard, outer plies combined with semi-soft layers of wood.

Two additional thin wood plies eliminate unwanted vibration.

This results in a dynamic 7-ply blade for all types of attackers.

Like its namesake, Jan-Ove Waldner, it combines power and feel in a unique manner.

A great fast wood blade, with descent controll. I play it with J-O Waldner 1,8 mm bh and 2,0 mm fh.

If you want an all wood blade that's fast and with a great feel to it, this could be the one for you. All+/off- It's cheap, but don't let that fool you! It's easy to produce whatever stroke you want at any speed you want with this blade. What more could you ask for? I especially like it for over the table and close to medium play with Butterfly Tenergy 25 2.1mm rubbers. This combination will generate: high speed, great spin and you will get excellent blocking capabillties. It's perfect to smash with. I was very surpriced and thrilled the first time I used it. Now a couple of months later I just enjoy it.

This blade is not good for the player with good tecnique its to hard. i have tried persson powerallround that is not that hard i think medium and it was a lot better.
