Description of Galaxy Carbokev K-6

The K series from Galaxy are all "CarboKev" blades, with 2 or more layers of CarboKev cloth between the wood plys. The K series in general are looping blades, but like with most Galaxy series, the numbers (K1, K2, etc.) do not have any pattern in how they play. Each blade is different.

What is CarboKev?

Each layer of cloth is made up of two fibers, the vertical is "carbon fiber" while the horizontal is made of "Kevlar" fibers. This gives the sweet-spot of carbon, but is a good amount softer.

this blade is supposed to be a replica of the butterfly maze, as it has the same layers and structure. howver this blade is much faster, extremely stiff and hard. i would recommend it to players who love stiff and hard carbonblades.

Said to be a clone of the Michael Maze. I have not played with the Maze, so I can't say. Fairly stiff and hard blade. Pretty fast, but still controllable. Mine has a fairly beefy flare handle. It has a hollow handle and initially had a little more vibration than I like. But filled the hollow up with insulating foam, and no more vibrations. Weighs about 86g. Probably my favorite blade.
