Description of Galaxy Hinoki 5A

The 5A is part of a line of hyper-quality single-ply Kiso Hinoki blades. The Galaxy line of Hinoki blades consists of two lines, those sold by quality (the 3A and 5A blades), and those sold by tree age (200, 260, and 350 blades).

The 5A comes in a special wooden display and storage box containing 2 white Galaxy branded balls and a Japanese "Mini-blade".

What is Kiso Hinoki?

Hinoki, a cypress tree, is known for having a unique feel to it. A whole culture exists in table tennis around the quality and uniqueness of hinoki blades. Kiso is a place in Japan known for the quality it is Hinoki wood. Hinoki is very expensive.
