Description of Xiom V1
Very light Carbon Blade for aggressive close-to-table players.V1 is very hard and speedy. But its thickness is only 5.4mm,which allows sufficient deformation required by modern aggressive players.Special hard wood is used as surface material, and energy carbon which provides high energy.Efficiency is inserted directly under the surface the result is the combination of high speed amd compact feel. Both of close-to-table topspin and hard smash are very easy.On the contrary, players will easily be able to enjoy extremely precise ball placing of block.Vega Asia is recommended for the combination.

Compared to a Stradivarius, the dwell time is definitely longer. The blade is more flexible, and paired with two Vega Pro 2.0, feels more flexible and slower than a Strad with two LKT Rapid Speed 2.0. CENGİZ YILDIZ said this on July 24, 2011:
xiom v1 gerçekten çok güzel. Hem hız hem spin hem de kontrol isteyenler kesinlikle bu tahtayı denemeliler Tavsiye ederim. Ben Schlager off+ kullanıyordum. Åimdi çok memnunum. Ãünkü tutarlı bir tahta vvk said this on August 19, 2011:
Usual flawless Xiom manufacturing quality. Lighter than Xiom Zetro Quad. Very controllable in the short game, feels slower than Zetro Quad. Looping with Palio Thors and Xiom Omega IV is simply great. Also, quite easy to lob from the second zone away from the table.

My Xiom V1 is 82 g, goes well with medium soft rubbers. Absolutely love it with Vega Europe great control. Overall, it is a fantastic blade, the handle is nice - required only minimal sanding, nice balance in the blade, very little vibration, about OFF- fast yet really stable, with enough dwell time even for slower looping, and also esthetically pleasing. I recommend it for intermediate level amateur players, and maybe higher.

i have stradivarius 88g and now i am useing v1 86g. on a fair test both were put with max vega pro both sides. i found v1 touch faster. on everything else i can not seperate theses two blades, v1 has slightly harder feel. i t.hink weght is important when buying blades according to xiom scale, it can make the deferrence some time. v1 was ment to be slower but not. main strength of both blades is looping. i cant make my mind which to use! 10/10 x2
