Description of Galaxy MC-2
Yinhe or Galaxy as most people know them have been making quality blades for a long time. Even though this blade is very inexpensive, don't be fooled, it has excellent balance is finished to the highest standards This is All Round Version of the Micro Crystalline Series. It has a Speed rating of 8 (Off-). Some say its a clone of the Stiga OptimumPlus. This is once again a magnificent looking blade, that has excellent balance. The Handle on all the Yinhe Blades feels very similar to the handles on Butterfly or Stiga blades, with the dimension nearly the same. It is rated by the Manufacturer as an OFFENSIVE. - Fitted play: All round, Smash & loop - Yinhe blades made by blade-maker expert, Mr Han GuoHua - Combining the best characteristics of famous European and Asian blades - Yinhe blades are strictly treated with high temperature and use hi-tech manufacturing processes. |

Reviews of the Galaxy MC-2 Saif said this on February 6, 2010:
Good flex and control. Feels like typical Stiga blades. Excellent touch and speed for close to the table play. Not that good when you are more than 5 feet away. Pairs very good with chinese rubbers. Darren Rapacchi said this on July 10, 2010:
A very good blade, good control and good speed when combined with the right rubbers. I play a mid distance game, have had Globe 999 Por Version 2.2mm on both sides, played ok. I own 7 Yinhe blades and rate them very highley. Price versus performance = excellant.....won't play with anything else. Anonymous said this on June 4, 2012:
Paired with DHS Hurricane III (40 hardness, 39 may too soft to control in my experience), this blade is very easy to control and loop. Only it loses the feeling of control when looping very hard, if comparing it to Stiga Offensive Tube, perhaps because of its light weight. I would recommend this blade to any player who developing looping skill. Very comfortable and controllable. |
