Contest Rules

Contributors will get Contribution Points (CP) for adding products to the database. Each point counts as a raffle ticket to win our great prizes, so contribute more to increase your chances to win! We want contributions from the community to make our database more complete and useful to the community.

  1. Add a Product (10 CP):
    Add a product to the database properly (fill in the fields as instructed). Improperly added products will not get credit. Make sure you're logged in when you add the product so you get credit for it.
  2. Send a picture of a Product (10 CP):
    Earn 10 CP for e-mailing us a picture (at least 200x200 pixels) of the product that currently has no picture, that can be used in the product profile. For rubbers, we want the cover graphics, for blades a picture of the blade itself, etc. The picture must NOT have a watermark image from another website.
    Also, include your Username so you can get credit for it.
  3. Product Detail (2 CP each):
    Earn 2 CP for each tidbit of information that is missing from an existing product in the database. Information such as Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) in USD, types of woods in a blade, etc. Also if the information in the database is incorrect, then a correction is also worth 2 CP. Submit these by clicking on the You're a Know-It-All image link on the Product's Detailed Page:

Rules

  1. Anyone found giving false information will be disqualified, and may get their IP address banned from the Table Tennis Database
  2. No Contribution Points are given for Equipment Ratings. This is to prevent people from giving many low-accuracy ratings to win the raffle. The integrity of our ratings and reviews is a big priority.
  3. Prizes have no cash value, but may be transferred to another party.
