This is one of the best rubbers for attacking closed to the table, and deception is really good, I use ox red, is similar to Grass DtecS with attacking possibilities. it is a mixture of Prasidha Long A , Grass DtecS and 837

I have red 0x on Lion Shine def blade stiff blade. Plays similar to D.techs, but easier to control.
Highly recommended for close to table players who sometimes attack.

the special version has harder pips therefore a bit increase in speed but a decrease in spin. about a .5 rating difference

A versatile long pimp rubber that suits the modern defender style quite well. Hitting with it (in OX) is surprisingly easy and effective. I have it on an Andro Temper Tech All+ blade and they go well together, but the setup seems too fast for blocks.

While chops work well enough, I have serious problems with the blocks due to the speed of my rubber. People have mentioned inconsistency as a defining feature of the Talon. It seems I ended up with an Off+. The rubber throws the ball far more than my Globe 999 National.

The pips are soft and highly flexible. The Talon reminds me the tensor pips-in rubbers.

Good LP but for expert plaiers, it's fast and it's not easy to control but
deception is high and the opponent
make mistakes often. The spin is good, the second chop has very heavy spin

Using FW+ with GDT OX and it's a little too fast and high for blocks for me. Prefer dtechs on Cos 3 blade. Still lots of crazy movement! Those were the initial observations. Recently I played a fast hard looper and it blocked a lot of the lower loops well but they all landed very deep, low, fast due to blade and gdt. gdt is faster than p1r and 755 ox which I tried on fw+. Chops fast too from far away but they have trouble.

The above were initial comments. It is unfair to make the comparison between the new dtecs and Talon until I play with them on the same blade but I now am assured that Talon produces a very low throw even with a faster balsa blade like FW+. This is the rubber PB endorses as the best for FW+ and I can tell you that it is slower and lower compared to R2 with 755. Also the open blocks must be made with the blade face just a few mm over the table for best results. It does produce very low and precise blocks sometimes landing short but often landing just on the lines if the pace is fast and speedy. Also at this time I would not use this combo for chopping it's too fast for that but it is definitely a combo for passively blocking only or else ipushes might go long. Very dangerous for opponent as the pushed ball can easily skid right pass them.

Play GD Talon in OX red.
Great pips almost like Tibhar Grass DTec (old version) but much cheaper.
Super on chops away from table with heavy spin and the second/third chop has very heavy spin and often makes the opponent to fail his next loop. Not the pips with most control but still ok, deception is high and the opponent make mistakes often.
