I've been using long pimples for more than 10 years, and I can see a huge potential in Giant Long pimple. I totally agree with the manufacturer description. It's an excellent ALL-round long pips. It means you can play effectively both OFF and DEF game with high CONTROL. I've used it in 1.0mm on Andro Fibercomp. On this blade it performed spectacularly. These pips have very good friction, thus heavy chop and excellent attack are effortless. Giant Long let you vary your spin easily, from very heavy to no spin shots, which adds more deception to your game. Whit all of that said, G.L. is not very sensitive to incoming spin, so it is really easy to receive any serve with it. The block, chop-block, push-block, side-block are very deceptive with low trajectory and great spin reversal. So far, this is my favorite ALL-round pimple that shows outstanding performance in all elements possible (chops, rolls, attack, all type of block, etc.). With practice you can play any shoot with it very effectively. At first, I found it fast, but the more I trained with it, the better I was able to control it.
Anyway, give it a try and you will be glad you did.

Easiest long pimple to play! Has been trying to migrate to long pimple (from medium pimple). I have tried KTL stranger, sword scylla, tsp curl p1-r with little success. Surprised with how easy this pimple, red and 0.5mm sponge, to play with. I used it on sword T-hinoki, BH side, FH is Tuttle 2013 positive energy. Very light setup, ~150gr.
