Probably a solid 42* sponge. Good control but not all that fast. You can generate enough spin for an all-round spin game but I would say this rubber is better at flat hitting and countering. A little on the heavy side so don't plan on pairing your blade with two sheets of 2.2. Service is so-so. I use for a harder sponged BH on a medium soft carbon blade.

had it on forehand and back hand of a TULPE allround wood blade, black has green sponge (transend???) and red has cream coloured sponge. very high dwell time and spin, very controlled yet if you unload with it you can generate quite a bit of speed, i would suggest this rubber to modern defenders with emphasis on control, or offensive players who prefer a back hand loop over a block

the back is more spinny,speed is about same than red.

it's superb controll when chopp,loop,hit,block.

Nice rubber! Higher throw, soft feel, less sensitive to incoming spin, yet nicely spinny in game. Slow sponge of course, pair 2.2 mm with at least OFF blade. Serve is not special, but otherwise this rubber performs very well. So far my favourite among 729 rubbers (I've tried more than ten 729 rubbers).

afters years of using Butterfly Sriver, I changed to 729 Cream Transcend (a slightly better rubber in most areas, at significantly lower price). Then based on other reviews I decided to give Focus 1 a try. I would say this one is much less aggressive compared to Cream Transcend or Sriver. If you are developing techniques or need a very controllable rubber this might work for you. But if you have used Cream Transcend or Sriver and need more attacking power (faster spinnier loops) then this is NOT for you.

Compared to Sriver and Cream Transcend, this one is slower but spinnier. I can make my shots land more precisely. The rubber is very forgiving, meaning you can swing differently and the shots will still go out pretty much the same way. Because this rubber is good at spinning and control (but not speed), I can initiate third-ball attack by looping or chopping easily. However, into the fifth ball I feel it lacks speed / aggressiveness.

its very nice ruber for anyone, the only problem is speed but if u have long swing u can create solid speed for long game. . . its for spiny loops, bloks are controled, short game, chops

i prefer this rubber to focus 3 snipe because it has more control but slightly slower than focus 3 snipe

We put this rubber on both sides of a Joola Carbon Pro preassembled racket of a friend of mine (the racket originally came w. 4you rubbers) There was an immediate improvement in his game. His pushes came back just shaving the net like never before his blocking became very controlled. I had to try it myself. Control is amazing, spin is very good, a bit slow but very good rubber indeed.
