BRYCE SPEED FX uses the same rubber as BRYCE SPEED but it possesses a softer and more flexible sponge, the effect is greater control.
BRYCE SPEED FX is one of the new generation of racket coverings produced by BUTTERFLY High Tension technology; it is suitable for both club players as well as high class internationals.

Reviews of the Butterfly Bryce Speed FX

Review DeathAngel said this on June 12, 2008:

This rubber is pretty much a faster version of Bryce FX. It plays very consistently and has a very good feeling to it. If u were using Bryce or Bryce FX before and want a faster replacement for it with the new glue ban. This rubber may do the job for you.

Ide recommend it to a attacker who enjoys more speed than spin
Review Robertom said this on October 15, 2008:

The best rubber for players attackers, quick and with great control.
It is not my case, but I loved this rubber.
It allows long-distance attacks on the table without compromising the control and spin.
The best rubber with which've played!
I recommend it to anyone who enjoys played fast and with spin.
Review Niklas said this on November 10, 2008:

Damn, what a speedy rubber!
Yo can produce very mus speed and spin (also when you swat).
I guess better than Tenergy, but you've to decide yoursel what's better.
Review Dzierzhanowski said this on November 23, 2008:

Hello.
Fastest rubber from Butterfly today.
This choice its great for long-distance players.
Speed is beautifull. Its very think and optimal for me.
Quality is high.
I like that.
Review MichaelP said this on April 15, 2009:

The Bryce Speed Fx Red 2.1mm is a unique rubber. It has a low throw angle, but has decent spin and control. The shots produced with this rubber are extremely fast! This is a great rubber for advanced players who have a solid stroke and are consistent with their shots. I recommend it for backhand, as it is great rubber for smashing, looping, and blocking. You can easily counterloop the ball because of its low throw but high spin and control. If you are looking for one of those rubbers that will produce a "high fly" high arc loop, this is probably not the best choice. The ball goes almost straight out, so you have to have good timing and good strokes. Its capability to create fast, spinny, "charging" shots makes it a great backhand rubber to use!
Review lomar said this on October 27, 2009:

I give this rating based upon what Bryce Speed FX was made for. It counterloops well. Blocks are out of this world with excellent control but very fast. Looping dead ball and counter-drive is a breeze but looping under-spin takes very good technique. This is an exceptional backhand rubber. The throw angle is lower so it is great for fast spiny loops and backhand drives. The sponge is soft for good control on over the table shots and blocking and looping at mid to long distance from the table.

i like it as a bh rubber it has nice catapult feel. not too fast not too slow and very controlable. it gives me confidence when i 'm looping those hard chops or short pushes. it creates a nice curve on the ball. the bad thing is its not enough to put a way the ball but it can open up for a fh shot.
Review j.c. said this on January 29, 2010:

Very good for backhand loopers
Review Alexa said this on February 2, 2010:

I am giving it -1 , not 10 , because 1 pair of 1.9 was not identical like previus 1.9 or 2.1 I have tried.
Last pair has much harder sponge and effect is loss of touch , control and speed.
And one more -1 becouse 1pair=70 euro.

Review Anonymous said this on May 15, 2010:

pros:fastest FX version, good control with a nice feeling for offensive player who likes fast and soft rubbers and often play in middistance or distance!
cons: this rubber hasnt much spin and a very low throw angle!
Review cosmeticcarrepair said this on December 16, 2010:

Great rubber. Ball stays incredible low and charges forward when playing topspin. Blocking is out of this world, best rubber I have ever used for blocking, the harder faster and spinnier the ball is hit the faster it goes back with plenty of control over the shot. When pushing or playing soft blocks against short serves it seems to send the ball back with very little spin because the ball is not sinking into the rubber with these shots, I win a lot of points by just touching a spinny serve back leaving the opponet nothing to work with. The spin is produces with shots that make the ball sink into the sponge, this rubber is more mechanical spin that friction spin meaning that a player can produce high spin and speed during a powerful rally [when ball sinks in] but not have to work hard to control spinny serves [when ball does not sink in]. I would recommend this as a backhand rubber for power spin and offensive block, blocking powerful spinny loops is easy with this rubber, in fact, it's a pleasure. Looping against chop with backhand takes the best technique as it's a lot harder to do because of the extremely low throw angle.

one of the best tt rubbers!
best FX tempo, best feeling, very good control but for me not enough spin!
buy it if you are an aggressive two winged offensive player who likes softer rubbers!!!
Review Khayyal said this on December 26, 2010:

Butterfly Bryce speed FX not faster than Butterfly Bryce speed ... because of sponge haedness is very soft and cause to reduce the speed little bit.

It is more controllability.

generally, if you try to use it , you will like it.
Review Anonymous said this on January 4, 2011:

this is once of the best proffesional rubber in the world (before tenergy showed up), it is also known as one of the fastest rubber in the world. this is one thing that you should try
Review semiambidextrous said this on January 6, 2011:

Whoa - this rubber can do things I can't. Couldn't be happier with it.
Killer like a viper. Fast and merciless.
Review msilhanek said this on April 8, 2011:

Really fast rubber generating more spin than original Bryce Speed. It has a soft sponge really but it doesn't mean it has a lack of controll. It's lifetime is significantly longer comapring to Bryce (rated "lats longer than average"). I'd say it's a good choice for universal attackers, it provides a variable game.
Review Anonymous said this on May 8, 2011:

IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY WITH LIGHTER BALLS with this rubber. such as the yelloe joerax tabletannis balls which are sometimes used in competitions as there would be extreamly low feel aswell as the control would be very less.

its better to buy a tenergy rubber then this rubber.

Review santilohi said this on January 31, 2013:
