Reviews of the Butterfly Catapult

Blast off! This rubber has rocket propulsion built in I think. I didn't get to play with it more than a couple months (not mine) but I could feel the power and speed immediately. Counter-drives and smashes were almost impossible to chase down. Suitable for the intermediate/experienced player. Almost not worth price you're going to pay for the Butterfly logo, unless it suits your style to a tee.

Catapult is a very soft and controllable high tension rubber. It is good for looping, smashing and decent on serves. Really good forehand rubber because it is not abrasive but gives you the power and spin that you need without any loss of control. It allows you too place the ball where you want to. Good feeling. Great rubber for the glue ban.

After some time searching and trying some different rubbers i found the one for my backhand.

It gives a lot of control, real nice feel. You can feel the catapult effect but not nearly as much as when gluied. Also the sound is not bad even without glue.

This rubber gives me the control in my backhand and gives enough speed.

It's a good rubber for opening from backspin.

Only con is the durability, it looses its grip after a while and its not real cheap.

My favorite High Tension rubber from Butterfly. Very soft at 32 degrees so it can have a bit of a spongy feel. It has very nice spin because it lets the ball sink in nicely. The soft sponge does cause a bit of "trampoline feel" so it might bother some people. Overall, it's good for all-around power play.
