Reviews of the Butterfly Sriver G3 FX

Review DeVoured said this on January 2, 2009:

medium fast rubber, with a very soft sponge and good control (expect for blocking).
This rubber can actually do everything but it's not overwhelming in any stroke. Looping is very easy, blocking needs good precision, ecause the throw is VERY high. serves are very spinny.

if you are looking for a rubber that can do everything this one might be a good choice for you.

note: it's NOT like a glued sriver, not even close

Easy to play with. Fast enough. Decent spin. Good control. High throw. Light weight. Suitable for average players. But sponge and topsheet is fragile and it costs too much.
Review jpingchow123 said this on September 12, 2009:

A fast rubber from Butterfly. Out of the Sriver family it seems the second most spinny when compared to Sriver G2 FX, however it is the fastest. Blocking and looping are easy with this.

i use it on a timo boll spirit cs, i found it a little slow for the forehand, but very good rubber to make the RPB, because it have a lot of control

good rubber, but choose the bryce speed fx! They are very similar but the bryce speed fx has more spin and power and the nearly the same control!!
Review Sebas said this on August 25, 2010:

This rubber is great, I love it!
A lot of spin on my serves, great control, playing dangerous, solid loops to set up the point is very easy, smashing to finish the point is awesome with a nice sound.
All my shots where landing on the table! And, very important, the rubber lasts long.
Delighted with this!!!

i recently bought a new racket with sriver g3 fx. i think it has way less speed than what butterfly advertised but i like it just the same. good control and spin.

i used it on my innerforce ALC, everything is easy with this, looping, serving and control. mid fast rubber, good for either FH or BH.

I used to play with various rubbers including Tenergy05. There is a great respect for Tenergy, but it is not for recreational players. This is the greatest non-professional rubber I have ever played with. With Tenergy faults are non forgiving. This rubber has really great control, good spin and good ehough speed.
Review Anonymous said this on November 25, 2011:

not easy to get used to with it; it is too bouncy, spinny and soft. High throw angle demands more attention at serving. not for beginners and not for pro's. but if you lget uset to it these disatvanteges will become your advantages. You can produce high amount of speed and spin with little touch. a bit expensive though.
Review Anonymous said this on January 20, 2012:

It is the best rubber ever!it is faster than Tenergy and spiniest than spin art.but the best thing about it is that it is better than table tennis ferry but worst than tinkerbel.
Review Brahms said this on January 21, 2012:

Very good rubber for my licking. soft and spiny. I'm playing with it on a Kong Linghui FL blade since 1.5 month.
The dwell time is not big so very huge fan of Donic F3 Bigslam or Joola X-tra should be a bit disappointed. No specific sound.
If your looking for a linear and durable rubber you can try this one. For "do it all" shot (bloc, drop shot,...) I think the Sriver G3fx is a good candidate.
The price remains in the high range but the durability is there. This rubber is not a best seller and certainly not the Sriver new gen players were waiting for but I think it worth a try cause speed and spin a re part of this nice product from butterfly. Brahms

The Throw is very high. Overall it's Good Rubber! but not for beginner player
Review Anonymous said this on June 7, 2012:

My best friend has it, its the coolest rubber ever!!! Once he got used to it, it managed to spin from 1 side of the table to the other! Looking onto the offensive, he has never missed a smash and the high speed shots are full of topspin. Overall a great rubber.
Review siulunglee said this on June 20, 2012:

I use that for RPB for a while and it's a good candidate for that. Pretty decent control. Got good spin and many gear on this rubber but the speed is not quite fast. I will recommend it for backhand for both handshake and penhold.
Review Innerforce_ZLC said this on July 10, 2012:

good for beginner, good control, good speed and enough spin, easy to play with...
