Description of Darker VLON-S Silver V
This tensor rubber has special control and fast attack. VLON-S has very good friction and rebounce power, this rubber can easily obtain plump flying arc, and it has also eminent performance when solving some short balls on condition of rubbing, pushing and picking. VLON-S let you control balls freely and control the competition! Hardness: Soft-Medium Soft Silver V - Softer Sponge, better for Backhand, better control |

Very good control, good but not perfect spin, high throw angle, good for BH and FH, durable sponge blackbird74 said this on February 4, 2013:
Hardness seems about 34 +- 2 degrees. Weight seems average.
Rubber is fairly tacky when new. The ball will stick to it at first. Quite fast and spin is very good due to tackiness. Very good level of control also. Throw angle I found to be about medium. Blocking was good with the medium-soft sponge giving it plenty of bounce without playing a stroke. Pushing and chop serves were good due to the extra spin from the tacky surface. |
