This is the 35° soft version of the Dawei Inspirit Quattro Ultralight. The topsheet is thinner to reduce the weight and let the ball sink in deeper for more mechanical spin.

Great alternative if you don´t want buy Euro or japanese rubber. It´s a little slower than Sriver EL but give you more control and spin. Very easy for Topspin and great control if you need blocking the ball. It´s a little heavy than japanese rubber but in general i recomended like alternative if you need a unexpensive rubber with good speed without speed glue, great control and spin.

Reminds me of a very good Euro/Jap rubber. Great for mechanical spin, controlled placement and many gears!!

Nice quality and value. Good utility backhand rubber. Pushes, blocks, and loops pretty well. Currently use 1.8 on a galaxy K-4 for the BH with Tibhar Sinus Sound on FH.

A very good looping rubber. Because of the softness of the sponge the ball can really sink in and the topsheet can really wrap around the ball. Very spinney rubber. I say so more than Almana Sound; not as fast, but spinnier. It also makes a very nice click when looping. Compared to some of the other soft rubber's I've tried (Butterfly Solcion, Yasaka Mark V GPS) I like this better.

Just used this rubber in 2.3mm on my backhand. It excels at many things. Pushing, counter-hitting, blocking and looping were all a breeze. Never before have I used a rubber that did all those things so well. I would say that this rubber is a keeper, but the weight is a little overboard, despite claiming "ultra-light" and having a soft sponge. Flipping the blade over to FH, the Quattro plays very similar to Tihbar Nimbus Sound with the Quat having slightly more grip. The quat plays like it has some glue effect, without the glue. The topsheet is grippy and soft, allowing for a slight catapult effect when loop driving. All in all this is a very good "do it all" rubber for the money($18).

One of the best rubbers I've ever played with. I've been using this rubber on my bh for a while now, and it has been a joy. I use a very stiff blade, so the soft rubber helps me to counter that very effectively. The soft sponge gives you lots of time (dwell or bullet, take your pick) to place the ball where you want and enables you to put lots of spin on the ball if you wish.

I tried this rubber on my fh for a few times, and it feels great, even from away from the table. The rubber behaves very predictably, not a small feat. This rubber can seemingly do it all.

The throw angle is somewhat lower than in the Tenergy-family rubbers, but the control is better. I will order a 2.2mm rubber soon for my fh.

Pros:
-light weight: cut into shape the rubber weighs only 34 grams compared to Tenergy 64's 43 grams
-excellent dwell time
-excellent control/speed ratio
-great spin
-excellent price/quality ratio
-great durability: 50h+ of serious play and still going on
-tons of gears
-clicks nicely when hit hard
-works nicely with a stiff blade

Cons:
-none observed yet

Recommended playing style:
1.8mm beginner, defensive
2.0mm allround
2.2mm all-out offensive (?)

Edit:
To elaborate on my stiff blade, it is the Donic Waldner Black Devil, a light-weight balsa-carbo. On my other review of the Pre-tuned Gamblers: Outlaw and Six-shooter, I used a Stiga Hybrid Wood, a more controlled and slightly more flexible blade.

I have this on the bh of a 729 Bomb. I like the way that I can control the spin. The short game is good and I can finish the point with flat hits. I can also get good spin on serves. I had the 40 degree sponge before, but I like the extra control and spin I get from this set up.

Crazy good rubber !!! Start playing this rubber with a brand new Galaxy Carbolev K4 and all I can tell is a deadly combination. With this combo I have full control and double my speed !!! BTW I am a offensive loop player in penholder. I am no longer trying anything else !!!
Review otakujo said this on April 6, 2010:

I've always been a fan of the UL versions of the quattro series and recommend them over the regular inspirit quattro. This is a great rubber for the price however because of the softness of the sponge, you may have a problem bottoming out and hitting the blade. Great choice if you have a brush loop style. But if you prefer to loop drive and loop kill i recommend the harder version, Inspirit Quattro Ultra Light Reg of Power versions.
