Description of DHS Hurricane 3 (No. 19 Sponge)

Several players in the Chinese National Team use Hurricane III. Changed geometry of the pimples beneath the backside rubber compared to Hurricane II gives more control. For players who rely on feeling and control in their loop game. Tacky topsheet with good spin. For control/loop. One of the most highly regarded DHS rubbers.

No. 19 sponge, which adopts EX-technology, will strengthen speed, spin and control performance completely associating with DHS No. 15 glue and INTENSIFIER

Slow as hell. don't bother with this one unless you want to chop with it.

i guess, many wont like this DHS H3 version... in my opinion its a good rubber. still has the same characteristics of the classic H3. my blade setup is timo boll alc, dhs h3 w/ #19 sponge (fh) and gambler outlaw (bh) very good setup, just suites my style, controlled loop spin/drive but not compromising its speed.

my opinion, speed is not all about the rubber you're using... its 90% execution of strokes and 10% for the equipments.

For $18 H3 #19 isn't bad but there is really nothing to recommend it. H3 #19 is much lighter than I thought it would be. H3 is slow. It is fine for close to the table play but it wouldn't be good for trading loops 2 meters back. H3 is tacky. I could pick up a ball for several seconds. The spin was good but there isn't any tangential spring effect like T05 has. The ball simply rotates at a rate proportional to the tangential paddle speed, not faster like a ball spun by T05.
H3 will take a lot of effort to get the most out of it.
