Description of Donic Gallardo Sound

DONIC GALLARDO Sound
In developing GALLARDO Sound, DONIC have paid particular attention to perfect feel and the best possible sound. This "SOUND machine" offers excellent control and spin, due to its very soft and highly elastic 35° Shore Sponge, yet it generates sufficient speed for success in the modern game of table tennis. What distinguishes this new 2008 version is the spinny top surface plus even more power in the sponge.

Gallardo sound is awesome for players who wants to attack because of its speed and spin capability...

great spin. bad speed.
Review TripleC said this on June 1, 2012:

The Donic Gallardo Sound is a rubber not for everyone, especially to all-around players. It is more of an aggressive rubber, because it has a hard to generate perfect spin ability. Although it maximizes its power for control and spin, it has speed weakness. Due to its speed, I recommend use it as a FH rubber to a defensive blade. If paired with a defensive blade, that is where it continues its achievements. I recommend to use this on a Butterfly Joo Se Hyuk Blade, and maybe on a Friendship 729 Dr. Evil Pips. This rubber is extremely hard to master, even the Stiga Calibra LT Sound has a better performance than this. I can say when it comes to spin and control, it is best for defensive players. Not worth your money.
