Description of Donic Sonex JP Gold

Jorgen Likes to Have Everything Under Control. He is famous for his powerful backhand smash, yet experts say that his strongest weapon is his blocking game. Jorgen Persson's control on his backhand blocks is truly impressive compared to that of other players. He prefers to play with slightly softer rubber than other professionals. In fact, his choice of rubber is quite suitable for most table tennis players. Not surprisingly, the new SONEX JP GOLD points the way to the future of rubber with built-in speed-glue effect that incorporates speed and spin plus good control. It has the qualities that will be essential when speed gluing is banned!
We recommend Jorgen Persson's new DONIC SONEX JP GOLD for ambitious attackers who want a well-balanced rubber that has the effect of speed glue. This new generation of rubber offers a combination of excellent attacking characteristics with a built-in speed-glue effect.

I think it is a classic rubber especially for attackers who need speed in their game .
it is wonderful for backhand .
you can do everythin including sidespin, a push with some backspin, lobbing ,topspin and of course smashes

Very good rubber for offensive player.
Although its speed it' s easy to control.
I've used it for forehand in "max", on a carbon blade, and it was very powerful.

Cons: not very durable.

I use this rubber on a Butterfly Timo Boll T5000. I use Sonex on my backhand and Donic Acuda on my forehand. This rubber allows you to flick with quite a lot of power and the perfect rubber for backhand attackers. This rubber is amazing at Mid-Distance loops, backhand topspins etc. Pushing and chopping characteristics is very nice it has a soft and spongy feel. The classic sound of it is unforgettable - the table tennis Lamborghini ;

pros:

very fast rubber with good spin and consistent overall capabilites, even pushes.
Spin variation very good. Allows for fast topspins near and away from the table.
I use it on FH 2.0 sponge maybe a bit too fast for my offensive/allround ner table game.
cons:
combination with my BTY Primorac Off- a bit doubtful
coming from slower/spinnier rubbers blade angle requires adaptation (more closed)
Review fizzynaren said this on March 23, 2012:

With Donic Ultra Carbon , rally is like drinking water, lobbing is like having a beer, loops are like having a juice, Smashes are like drinking Petrol and splashing it on the opponent's face (FIRE)
Maintain the control

Sounds awesome:-)

Review BlackQueen said this on February 23, 2013:

One of my favourite backhand rubbers. Thin, very flexible and spiny top-sheet, with medium-hard sponge gives a lot of possibilities in short and mid-distance games, good for blocking, looping, easy to flip , I can even chop with it from mid distance, even though, I do not do it very often, but found it very easy with this rubber. Pity DONIC doesn€™t make it anymore€¦

a good backhand rubber for blocking flicking and loops
