this is Giant Dragon's new anti-spin and since I'm now selling Giant Dragon equipment I decided to give this rubber a test run. I don't normally play with anti-spin rubbers but I saw this amazing video on youtube with 2 german players giving this rubber a test. One of them appeared to be a 2000+ looper while the other guy just blocked his loops with the anti. He was able to perform amazing blocks that even produced some spin reversal, so I slapped on a sheet last night and gave it a try. I played with 1.8mm on a fast blade, and all I can say is wow...this rubber was amazing at blocking! If you block 2 loops in a row...they won't be able to loop a 3rd one on. I was even able to attack underspin with this once I figured out the correct angle and it provided lots of trouble for my opponent. I also blocked a smash that was probably the best block I've ever made in my life. I popped this guy's serve up and he smashed it right at me, and somehow I got my racked on it...and it landed on his side of the table. Neither of us could believe it! I'm really curious to see how 1.2mm plays, as the 1.8 was still a little fast. One more thing about this rubber is that it's feather light. I won't become an antispin player, but I wanted to give it a try since I sell this rubber and all I can say is it won't disappoint. Give it a try...you will be impressed.
