Description of JOOLA Mambo C

MAMBO C is the rubber for the hardest topspins and extreme fresh glueing. It is the advancement of a classic Japanese offensive rubber. The upper surface is not only of the very best quality promising best longevity but also extremely grippy.

Reviews of the JOOLA Mambo C

Mambo C is a weapon.

I used it glued. It`s FAST. But not just fast, my loops land on the table with ease.

Non-tacky elastic top, quite grippy. Produces a lot of spin. The hard shots have a nice arc and kick. My training partner commented that my regular Mambo looped balls were `clean` and more predictable, while Mambo C had a higher gear, higher arc and more vicious kick, more difficult to return.

Even mid/far table I did not have to put extra effort to make a sizzling counter. I have not made a really 100% full-power, all-out shot yet. I just did not need to. Say 80-85% at most. On my Galaxy W6, which is slow compared to OFF/OFF+ blades.

Serves are OK, although less spinny obviously than soft Chinese. Sometimes I chopped with it as well, did OK. Blocks/pushes nicely.

Too bad I dont like feeling the harder sponge (45 deg), otherwise I would not look further for an offensive FH rubber.

A firmer rubber for advanced topspin rallies. Great for hitting and looping hard. Definitely a power style rubber.
Review hxiao said this on August 9, 2009:

Mambo C has a lot of different gears for any attacking player, and even for some blockers. It generates good spin without being a tacky rubber, which is surprising. The sponge isn't too hard or too soft, allowing a large variety of attacking strokes. It has enough power to be used without speed glue or boosting. Overall, it's comparable to Sriver or Sriver EL in quality and its characteristics, and attacking players should give it a try.

very quick great for topspin/loops especially

Great rubber for allround/offensive players, great blend between spin, speed and control, since speed glue has been banned, a new generation of rubbers has been brought out, most of these rubbers are faster than mambo c. Id say its more an allround+ / offensive- players rubber
