This rubber represents a new type of anti-spin. It is extremely safe just like a classic anti, but also has remarkable spin reversal as the new firctionless antis do. It allows medium-fast returns as well as extremely short stop balls with little differences in wrist action. It is well suited to attacking under-spin balls or reversing them to top-spin by simple blocking. It also offers very safe but dangerous returns on top-spin. It also may produce a little spin on its own.
It is not very demanding regarding technique but one must be aware that the duration of the ball/sheet contact plays an important role in how the rubber reacts.
I used to play classical anti for decades, switched to slick anti half yr ago, which already improved my results, but now play at least one class better with this hybrid between both types of anti than with both antis before.
As with all antis: The rating for spin refers to the possibility of the rubber to generate spin on its own, whereas its rating for retention of opponents' spin would be around 7.
The disadvantages are price (>100$) and durability: The top sheet disaggregates from sponge where you often hit balls and where you place your fingers. So the rubber can be played for - I estimate - half a year before it is finally unusable, and the collapse starts even earlier.
