Description of LKT Pro XT

- Next generation of rubber formulation
- Engineered for tackiness
- Thin top sheet with unique rubber pip structure
- Fitted for over the table loop
- Deadly serve to attack transition.
- Special XT sponge designed to enhance performance.

PRO XT utilizes tackiness with modern elasticity. A thin. tacky top sheet with a specially designed under pip structure generates a shocking quantity of spin with the most compact stroke. PRO XT is an excellent weapon for the 3rd ball attack as well as the compact loop.

Reviews of the LKT Pro XT

Review ppgear said this on March 3, 2008:

I've only tried this without speed glue, and it's pretty slow. The sponge is butter soft (the softest I've seen) but is very light. The topsheet is very soft as well. I've tried this topsheet on harder sponges and it feels much better. This might be pretty good with speed glue though.
Review NiTTaKu said this on March 25, 2008:

Soft (near the 30's), high porosity sponge but not as soft as Palio GP3. High elasticity surface, feels like an euro spin rubber (near thibar vari spin) to me but a lilttle faster. It's not as tacky as Globe 999.
Compared to a custom 999T-2 with GP3 sponge, LKT XT seems more controlled for smashes and a tad slower.
Review gabcsi said this on September 2, 2008:

If you glue and like spin, you gotta love this one. Needs an off- blade at least as it is not very fast, but the spin is excellent.

Serves/pushes with the XT cause problems for my opponents all the time. Very good control. Sponge maybe a tad too soft but a very useful rubber as is. I use black on the BH.

Somehow I did not like the red, produces less spin than the black.

Definitely my recommended BH rubber!

I tried it for its price. I paired it with a med hard sponge to increase its speed. It spun very well when new and kept its spin by adding grip spray. I liked it cause it was thin and it was mechanically grippy even w/o its orig tackiness. It was much lighter than the older types of chinese rubber though it loses some of its durability

It is the best rubber to the best price, interior extructura is surprising is very light, is very, very rapid and has a control exepcional, is the best alternative for that one that looks for an exelente speed without risking the control

Great backhand rubber. Spinny with good control. Ignore the guy on a rating rampage who just pumped up the rating of this rubber (dude get a life). It's rather slow, but has great characteristics that serves a controlled, well-rounded game. But forget launching outright bullets with this rubber, it isn't its best asset (value is in case you're wondering)

If you're not playing in a sanctioned tourney and can speed glue or tune, then by all means buy it as a rocket launcher as it reacts extremely well to gluing, otherwise it's just what I mentioned and nothing more. The silver dragon verwsion has a faster sponge, but it isn't exactly a speed demon either. Did I mention it's very light and soft? Avoid if you don't like that and/or tacky rubber.

Speed: 7
Spin : 8.8
Control: 8.5
Overall: 8.3

This rubber is slow without speed glue because of the super soft sponge. It does produce tons of spin for loops and serves but again its not very fast at all. Just want to point that out because I was surprised to see the high speed average for this rubber and its not that fast.

Very good rubber, highly recommended! A good all round rubber, good with blocking, pushing, counter hitting. A very dangerous rubber! if youre a equipment junky and loves trying different rubbers...try this one and you wont be dissapointed.

CONTROL Is AMAZING thats it really..
Review RANGER said this on May 22, 2011:

It's an amazing tacky rubber, i make an experiment with the original plastic sheet on this peculiar rubber and the ball bounces more than my Joola Phoenyx on my Stiga Hibryd Wood, but when a quit the plastic sheet the ball don't bounces at all, because the sticky of the rubber, it sucks the ball, you have to hit hard the ball if you want project the ball, for that reason the problem of the speed it is not the sponge its the tacky, but i read that transform in 20-50 hs of use when the rubber lost a litte of it tacky.

Spin: 10
Speed: 6
Control: 8

i have one for the backhand and it's great to do strong loops. it's unstable for controled attack.
it's also more fast than rapid speed.but i can't recomend it because it's fast, spinny but poor control in short distance.
Review RNL said this on October 2, 2011:

Love this rubber for my backhand. Great control, lots of spin, great for pushes and chops, plenty of spin on backhand serves, yet there's enough speed for a good wrist flick slam. Nice and light, and the 2.2 mm sponge is lighter than the 2.0. Every time I try something else, I keep coming back to this bargain price rubber. It's good and durable too.

I'm a recreational player, this rubber is glued to a Y-H T8. An all-round rubber for my backhand, good speed, good spin, good control, very consistent.
Review igszoctan said this on September 11, 2012:

Nice rubber it is . Though a recreational player too am I let me tell you it is a great rubber for a ridiculously low price . Yesterday I had a couple of hours practise with it again on my spare Yasaka Sweden Classic blade with R802 short pips on it . It may be comparable to H3 Neo a bit softer less tackier but very grippy and controllable at the same time . Personally I like it very much . Easy under- and topspins, short serves and it seems to be durable but it will turn out later .
Review JOW said this on November 22, 2012:

Just had to test this rubber. Ridicolus price (8$ at ttnpp.com). Didnt have much expectations on the rubber, but damn i was surprised the first time i used it. Straight ot of the package it was tacky, but after just an hour of play it was almost gone, wich i liked.

It behaves like a euro allround rubber prerfect for the player who doesnt play the fastest table tennis.

Serves: Due to soft sponge it is really spinny on serves eaven without tackiness. The topsheet feels grippy and not tacky. Good control on length.

Chops: Very good. Good control and a hard bite wich is hard to loop back

Loops: Spinny, however slow. Needs to be struck really hard or you are gonna get counterlooped. Good kick wich can trick some opponents.

Drives/smashes: Not the best. Lacks the speed.

Overall: Great allround rubber at a very good price. For the pure offensive player it is to slow, but for a player not wanting the highest speed, or for a player who is learning the offensive play this is a very good and cheap rubber!
Review A_R_T said this on May 17, 2013:

I use this on WangXi Dotec blade on FH. This cheapo rubber has so much control ! I could literally direct my push, chop wherever I want. Smash, loop over table is adequate. If you smash, loop say from 3 meter behind table, that's where this el cheapo short. I didn't boost this right now, maybe later.
