Reviews of the LKT Red Diamond (Golden Cake Sponge) Junbi said this on June 8, 2011:
This rubber has very good control. Can generate good spin and speed. Very linear rubber. You get what effort you put in in terms of speed and spin. Tackiness last about a week or so if you play daily but its not very tacky and yet can produce heavy spin. Very good rubber all in all. Great for serving, looping, pushing, and smash. Great value for $14. Anonymous said this on December 7, 2011:
this is my first review: i spend almost 700$ in 2 month to try to many rubbers and blades (used or new). i was looking for rubber blade combination primary for monster loops. many rubbers were quite good but only 2 rubbers makes me say: WOOOW. I LOVE IT!!! its bryce max on joola mc1 and LKT Red Diamond (Golden Cake Sponge) on Palio R57!!! this is a looping monster if you make a good stroke. i am a penhold player (with RPB). i have 2 kinds of stroke: the classic one (if the ball is high enough or half distance). and my own monster loop stroke (close to the table), which looks like washing the window (like you move your hands to say hello) very fast. blocking was only ok for me as classic penhold blocker. i will now try the lkt black power GCS, because i heard its almost like the red diamond but slightly faster with a lower throw. yuke said this on August 13, 2012:
Ultra tacky rubber, I can't play with that because it's too hard to control. When you try to unglue it, it tears... I'm disapointed.

Good rubber for price. Whoever rated durability highly, never tried to move it to another blade. sponge tears easily.
If left on a blade, durability is average. Better than tensors, but nit a hoops as traditional Japanese o'er Chinese rubbers. gyman75 said this on March 29, 2013:
good rubber especially for looper. Very easy to loop but lack of speed and spin. Control is superb. Hitting and smashing quite risky. Nothing extremely special but could do anything you want to do. Recommend for those who love to play with tacky rubber and love brushing ball a lot..
