Description of Mizuno Charge

CHARGE is Pure Tension rubber.
This is an offensive type rubber "CHARGE", which combines both speed and spin performance, developed by making the most of the latest Mizuno rubber composite technology.
This is a tension type high charge rubber for top players who combine power with technical skills. This rubber displays high spin performance even without speed glue by charging the rubber with kinetic energy of the ball at the time of impact and directly returning this energy to the ball.

Charge is a good German made rubber that has a great medium - medium-hard sponge that can generate a lot of spin from aggressive mid-distance loop drives. The topsheet is similar to Bryce with a tad more spin and a tad less durability. Charge SS should be considered the replacement for Charge in the new glue-free era.
