I got the 38-40Â° version (the one with the black cover, the other one (yellow cover) is the harder version) and it really doesn't play any different from classical rubbers, e.g. Sriver FX. Well it's a bit tacky though, so that you can lift a ball for a second. It offers unbelievable spin, yet it plays incredibly slowly (even with max sponge) due to the very very soft sponge. BUT, for the price it is a great rubber, as it plays similar to rubbers like Sriver FX, Joola Samba or other similar rubbers. However I put it away due to the lack of speed (and the soft sponge).

Recieved a sheet of AK47 biotech as a bday gift. I recieved the black package version. I believe the sponge was labeled 38-39 degrees. Im using this as my backhand rubber on my Joola MC1 which is a off+ blade. Excellent rubber!!! I was a bit skeptical at first because of the slow speed but this rubber has amazing control. It's been said that AK47 plays similar to sriver el and I have to agree in the control aspect but AK47 biotech creates way more spin due to fairly tacky topsheet. I like that this rubber isn't too bouncy though too. It has really allowed me to open up and rip through the ball with my backhand loop.
