This is review for 39-41 degrees hardness version. This one is more appropriate for FH between two, it won't bottom out. Interesting, the specimen I've got is completely non-tacky, matte finish, looks like oxidated. What is good about it is control: it's very insensitive to incoming spin. Yet it is capable of putting strong mechanical spin like good euro-jap rubber. This is thanks to biotech sponge which is pretty good for producing mechanical spin when not too hard. This rubber is good for looping, driving, flat-hitting and even decent for serving. And the speed is ok also. So far I don't see major weakness, which is great for cheap rubber. For people who prefer euro-jap type of rubber and looking for cheap and good one, and wh certainly worth trying. Anonymous said this on February 10, 2012:
Congratulations to the Palio! At last a cheap chinese rubber, which is all together: good throw angle and dwell time, decent attack speed and spin. Loop is so easy (very low reactivity), great for blocking. Uncut mass is 60-62g (36-38deg). ashishsharmaait said this on February 17, 2012:
I am using 36-38 hardness as an alternative to the Palio CJ8000 Japanese Sponge. It has a much harder top-sheet, but longer pips and small grains on the surface. It can generate a lot of spin, more than CJ8000 36-38, Mark V, Galaxy Sun and is marginally faster than the CJ8000. Lacks a bit on control though. Throw angle like CJ8000, a bit lower than Tenergy 25.

This is better than ugrade version. It is much more precise control (
inimitable) and better spin, but the top speed is slightly lower. 36-38 uncut mass: 68g HD is very good for speed glue |
