Description of Stiga Calibra Tour M

Calibra Tour M has a medium-hard sponge. Equipped with the brand new APS-technology, it provides very high speed and the fantastic possibility to shape your shots with the increased spin features. The APS technology (Advanced Pimple Structure) with straight shaped pimples makes the rubber adapt to the ball like never before and provides an explosive and spinny rubber that is reliable in every situation.
Calibra Tour M is suitable for players with medium strong hitting power who need a rubber that helps generate a bit more speed with the lovely feeling of built-in speed glue effect. Enjoy the ultimate precision-shot-making experience!

The topsheet looks like an antispin tosheet by it does provide monstruous spin........I have never seen such an incredible topsheet. Its far less sensitive to incomming spin than any other off+ backside but still the topsheet provides tons of spin on serves, top spins, pushes....... I commend Calibra Tour M on your strong side (forehand usually) in combination with a flexible blade (i use Bty Innerforce AL), you need a blade with good flex, high throw and high dwell time to fully enjoy Calibra tour M amazing feeling and potential. I tried Tour M and Tour H with harder and stiffer blades like Joola Rossi Emotion, Walder Legend Carbon, Mizutani Jun ZLC, none is a good combination, dwell time is ultra low, throw angle ultra low, no feeling at all. Tour M 1.7mm is faster and more powerfull than my previous FH rubber T80 1.9mm on my IF AL, throw is lower, trajectory longer. BTW i would gladly appreciate if someone tested Calibra Tour topsheet with the Polyalls ? Does this special topsheet still "work" with Polyballs ? I wonder...... edit : after playing with intensively for about 2 weeks, I can say that the rubber is just playing better and better. still like new, and when I say this I mean REALLY like a brand new. First rubber with "speed glue effect" to be still ok after 2 weeks of my tranning.

Very good rubber for the upcoming intermediate who likes to play strong, spinny topspins close and away from the table. Spin is very good, touch play is easy to master and the rubber is versatile. I got it in 1.9mm and it is quite fast, faster than joola energy xtra. Didn't take long to get used to, and I was soon placing topspins at all angles with ease. Service is easy and you can counter topspins if you have a loose grip on your blade. Not tacky at all so your opponent's spin doesn't bite into it like you would expect. Overall a great all round rubber that's great for offensive looping.

I have it in 1.9mm on a stiga offensive classic carbon. A very balanced rubber. Very fast, good spin, very good control. After a month or so the spin drops slightly, but it's still very spinny. I play about 7 hours a week.

No tacky at all. Almost feels like a dead rubber. But can generate slow controllable backhand loops. Pushes are very good control; underspin is average. Blocks are excellent. Counter-hits are average depending on which blade is used. Forget about power-loops with this rubber. This is strictly a bh rubber

This rubber has a very very different topsheet. It feels like someone had pulver on it. Because the spin will be very bad, close to an anti rubber if you don't do anything about it. After cleaning it by breath consistently when i'm playing in about 2 weeks it got an average spin for a table tennis rubber. So the spin is very bad. I hope this will not happend to you, because i didn't opened it up directly when i bought it, i waited about a month. A good thing with this rubber is the speed. It's one of the faster rubbers i've tried. Even if the spin is not a strong part rubber, it is possible to make slow spinny topspins if u have the technique. The consistensy is one of the worst things with this rubber. If you don't clean it regularly, it will lose it's spin really fast.
