Reviews of the Stiga Carbo

Review Bryce said this on February 25, 2010:

The carbo rubber is good for somebody with good topspin strokes. Decent speed and decent spin. Good for the average player who likes to hit hard topspin shots. average or a little below average with chopping, takes a lot of work to make good chops.

This rubber is great for hitting and counter-hit. I also find it easy to push, play a controlled chop, or float with disguise.
The high throw when looping means that it is great for taking a chopped ball on the half volley and playing it back with heavy spin, but not so good with a medium length ball.
I can generate more spin off my service with this on my B/H than with any other rubber I have used. (blade: Stiga WRB super carbon. Black Carbo used on BH)

Amazing when playing away from the table. It was also quite good when blocking although there are newer rubbers with better catapult effects now. It is very useful for the consistant player. I've been using this on the super carbon wrb blade and u just cant go wrong with this classic combination.

good sound. good power. average spin. average control. average durability.

you will want to play punches or flat hits using this rubber. the carbon incorporated sponge gives this thing a good sound when you hit hard. when you spin, there's a feeling of "thickness", perhaps, shorter dwell time.
