Description of Tibhar Genius+ Optimum Sound
This soft version of the Genius+ Optimum has an extremely strong catapult effect paired with a light playing sensation. You'll feel how the energy transfers from your bat to the ball. A weapon for players who, although they favor a soft attack, do not want to give up explosive strokes in an open game near or far from the table. The energy loaded sponge combined with the newly developed rubber surface offers an optimal mixture of dynamism, playing sensation, sound and control.

Reviews of the Tibhar Genius+ Optimum Sound phil said this on June 16, 2011:
Very very fast (2mm black) rubber, almost impossible to play the short game, very difficult to make a short push or even other good pushes with a lot of backspin. This rubber is just too springy , too much catapult. Only suited for fast topspins, very VERY unforgiving rubber. Totally useless addition to the genius range. Stay away from it ! The Genius Sound however (on the same blade Stiga Tube Allround WRB) has decent control, more spin and really a lot more sound. phillypong said this on October 14, 2011:
i am phil in the previous review and i have to correct this review
the rubber is excellent for blocking and fast hitting on my backhand good glue sound when hitting or brushing hard countering heavy topspin balls is very fast and effectif speedy rubber, soft sponge , i have a 1,8mm black one on a Stiga Tube Allround wood chopping is good but it is difficult to chop schort, only long or medium lenght is possible a lot of catapult effect, fast stuff guys ! cever said this on November 22, 2011:
Switched from Nimbus Soft this this rubber, but I went back to the Nimbus Soft after 2 weeks. It has far less control, it was slower, but with slightly more spin.

This rubber is excellent in terms of Spin and control. Not too fast but fast enough to score a point. I use it on my backhand and due to its very good control and spin I can score a lot more points with backhand topsin strokes.
I am very pleased with it. chosapro00 said this on November 14, 2012:
Alright rubber lacking touch shots not much control but when using it for topspin it has a good kick to it, graet for blocking
Tourtise said this on May 11, 2013:
Slightly faster than Genius Sound with similar spin. While I do like this rubber, I do prefer the original Genius Sound. I tend to hit the ball off the table more often with this rubber. Overall this is an excellent forehand rubber for loopers. Not the best for chops and blocks.
