Description of Xiom Sigma 1 Europe

Sigma series finally built an extra power effect of speed glue mechanically in 'Hyper Elasto' rubbers. Advance to Internal Mechanic Boost (IMB) system of 'Hyper Elasto' technology perfects the effect without illegal aids like speed glue or boosters. This is a historic development of rubber production. Black Carbo Sponge harnesses the power of 'Hyper Elasto' IMB generation. Special construction of Carbo Sponge gives an extraordinary advantage to rubber dynamics. IMB rubber with Carbo Sponge also responds more precisely to the player's intention. New Win Fit Shape of Sigma series declares the new era of historic IMB rubber production. The speed is very good and, barring speed junkies, should be more than enough: as is the rubber is about as fast as it can be without compromising control. I find it much easier and more effective to stroke and than many other rubbers I have used. The spin is also very good. Loops are easy and provide good spin. Smashing I think is where this rubber shines. Flicks are equally effective and very quick as this rubber is a tad "bouncy" in my opinion. The spin provided - as well as this rubbers ability to ignore the opponent's spin - by pushes is great, though at first was a bit hard to control. And despight having a bit of bounce I have no problem putting a light touch on balls to drop them just over the net. Blocking is really fantastic too as it propells the ball back quickly and absorbs a good deal of the spin. Gears are "above average" in my opinion, as I have played with several other rubbers that are better in this department. I also think that coupling with a medium stiff blade would be a good idea to lend to the control and spin. Using it on my hard blade has, for me, been a bit detrimental for my ability to get full use out of the rubber I think. Overall a truly fantastic rubber for BH I HIGHLY recommend this rubber to any all round offensive player. For aggressive attackers or aggressive loopers- depending on your playing style- I think there are more specialized rubbers out there. That being said, this rubber does everything very well.

I am a penhold player, my racket is RSM platinum special (10.5 mm thickness), this rubber fit the blade well, balances spin and speed, good for mid distance. Comparing to Vega Pro, more speed, more stable counter-loop, but less gears and power in close table attack. Overall, this rubber is good for pen-holders

Works extremely well as a backhand rubber. It keeps the ball low, is great for short game, very effective for topspin and sidespin service return or mid-distance full strokes, and blocks pretty well. On the hard tilts and smashes the rubber releases a great deal of spin, making backhand smashes almost un-returnable.
