Description of Xiom Sigma Pro

Sigma series finally built an extra power effect of speed glue mechanically in 'Hyper Elasto' rubbers. Advance to Internal Mechanic Boost (IMB) system of 'Hyper Elasto' technology perfects the effect without illegal aids like speed glue or boosters. This is a historic development of rubber production. Black Carbo Sponge harnesses the power of 'Hyper Elasto' IMB generation. Special construction of Carbo Sponge gives an extraordinary advantage to rubber dynamics. IMB rubber with Carbo Sponge also responds more precisely to the player's intention. New Win Fit Shape of Sigma series declares the new era of historic IMB rubber production. Reviews of the Xiom Sigma Pro

Review mat8 said this on November 27, 2011:

very hard on touch but when u play it feels soft with great spin sensation its the best alternative for tenergy 05 and i tried almost all rubbers that are close to tenergy 05 i play with schlager carbon and its amazing how easy are power smashes and heavy spin on half distance i just hope that it will last like vega pro or omega pro for this money it cant get much better :o)

Nice control and speed. Ball bounced higher than a T05 on the same blade. Much cheaper too.

I have been playing with Butterfly Tenergy since they came out and they are excellent. The Xiom Sigma Pro has greater speed and a lot more control. It is perfect for the attacking player. The more you put into it, the better. It is quite good to chop with, a different angle and not as spinny as Tenergy. Easy to block and flick with. It has a lot bigger sweetspot than Tenergy 64. I have used it together with a Donic Waldner Ultra Carbon blade. It is a breeze to loop with. Over all one of the best tensors, but it is to soon to say anything about durabillity. If you look for a very fast but easy controlable tensor rubber this Xiom Sigma Pro will deliver. Hey! Have a nice day... and go out and play!

feel very soft, not so fast and spiny,i am playing vega pro in b-h,beter than sigma pro.NOT SPINY,GOOD FOR SERVISE,GOOD CONTROL,NOT SO FAST,SOFT FEELING.
Review raymondhch said this on February 4, 2012:

softer feel than T05. Good control, not as spinny, but it is faster with power loop. Quite low throw. Very different feeling with T05, but still can serve as its replacement for fh rubber.
Review lefty21 said this on February 23, 2012:

suitable for attackers. although the speed is high it still has the control. but make sure that you have the correct stroke technique
Review kok said this on February 24, 2012:

first thing which you can see is the weight. very heavy rubber .on touch its well,click- clack feels very nice and i realy enjoy with my game. very fast rubber special far from the table. good spin and control but big minus is the slight tacky touch . you have to be careful with this rubber is not for every one . dont put on the hard blade !
Review kl5599204 said this on February 26, 2012:

very fast with a good spin
i use it with viscaria on my forehand,
the control is good too.
a little bit faster than omega IV pro,but the control and the spin are almost!!!

xiom sigma pro very good rubber.
Review Innerforce_ZLC said this on August 18, 2012:

Good in speed but less spin, feel soft, but a lots of grib, too heavy in max thicknes... use as a bh.
Review riker71 said this on August 26, 2012:

like most of the new 2012 Tensors this is heavy at 49g cut. Too fast for me coming from Omega IV pro and with less dwell and lower throw. I prefer Omega IV Pro. This rubber could be good on a slower Allround blade in my view or for all out attackers
Review sosororos said this on May 17, 2013:

spin and speed as T05 , good control as T64, sigma pro made me a little bit surprised
