Nice topsheet. Pretty similar to a number of new, tuned rubbers in initial feel. Not that fast. I can't believe all 28 prior raters have said it has a speed of 10! I strongly suspect ballot box stuffing.

I quite like this rubber. I used the older version & this is an improvement. Doesn't go slippery from finger grease unlike the DH Hurricane II.

Very high dwell-time leading to amazing consistency, i hardly miss a shot. Unfortunately the speed sux, serving and chopping is kinda crap too.

Is it me or the tackiness of LSZ999 wears out REAL quickly? In less than 1 month it needs cleaning of water every hour during a session or I can't even produce proper back-spin serves. When this haven't happened it is a superb rubber, if its sponge being speed-glued or oiled a little it can well beat some rubber which priced at 2-3 times of its price, and be comparable to rubbers 4 times of its price, making it a poor man's DHS Hurricane or something.
