Butterfly Tenergy 05

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 05Cons - Expensive. Big time.I don't mind the weight, but my personal feel. Pros - Goes fast if you want it to go fast. Slows down for you if you want it to. It doesn't have much of a crispy feel not like T25, but the overall feel is great. The control is manageable, and if you wield this weapon correctly, it would improve your game. You would be able to loop most of the spin given by your opponent, and the feel during smashing/drives are fantastic. No cons except the price. Could go down a notch. Butterfly Tenergy 25

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 25Cons - Expensive, just like any other Tenergy.Pros - I was suprised by what this rubber did. Throw angle is a lower than the other Tenergy's, meaning good quality close-to-table blocks and attacks. Much more of a crispy feel to it, compared to Tenergy 05. Control was slightly better than the other two Tenergy's, possibly because of the throw angle. Durability was nearly as good as a Chinese rubber, possibly due to the massive pips embedded. Smashing and looping was good. Be aware, if you step out about a foot or two, a bigger stroke is needed to get the ball back. Con is just price, too expensive. Jul 16, 2010 | |||||||||||||||||||||||

DHS NEO Hurricane 3

Review of DHS NEO Hurricane 3Cons - Commerical DHS rubbers are always different, from each batch to the next, but nothing to do about that.Pros - Very good alternative to higher priced rubbers like Tenergys. Less tacky than the original Hurricane 3, which makes this rubber a lot like European/Japanese topsheet with chinese sponge. It will not lift up the ball with picking up a ball with the rubber, but you can hear a slow motion to it. Many gears. The sponge is somewhat softer than the original H3. Serves are very well done. Looping is really easy. Very good alternative to a Tenergy, because my two Tenergy ( 05 and 25 ) died of spin. Great alternative to a high priced rubber, I strongly recommend just buying one sheet of this rubber and try it for yourself. Oh, and in the beginning at the start of opening this rubber, if you would like to have the sponge even softer ( Like I did ), reglue the rubber several times. It's almost a euro/jap rubber. Donic Desto F1

Review of Donic Desto F1Cons - Holy $@!%... Wow... No durability at all, I've played with this for half a year and the edges of the WHOLE rubber is broken and teared off...Pros - Very good speed for such a price. Spin lacks a little for a rubber, but good speed sacrifices for spin, so it's okay to assume. Control lacks a lot for this rubber. Looping and smashing is a breeze I'm sure of. Have a "CLICKY" sound to it. If you want to keep using this rubber sheet and get the best results everytime, you will have to buy it every couple of months, because this loses it's quality AND the amount of top sheet on, haha.
