Review of Andro Plasma 430

This rubber is a good choice for offensive players who want to win the point by variations of topspins and hard smashs. On the other hand it's not that good at short game and serving but with this rubber the ball gains a lot of spin each time you hit it. But it's worn out after 2-3 month, which makes playing this rubber quite expensive, if you buy this one 4, 5 or 6 times a year

offensive: very consistent and controllable because the throw angle is quite high. As it is a fast rubber, you have to put a lot effort in your top spins in order to make them fast. yet you top spins will be very spinny.

defensive/short game: not good. it is very difficult to play the ball lowly, because ht soft sponge makes the ball fly high automatically. -> backspin balls won't be too spinny.

serves: similar to short game

recommended to: offensive players who like controlled offensive, not an all out offensive

Review of Andro Roxon 500 Pro

To say this first: I just tested it for some hours, in the end it wasn't the proper rubber for me.

Anyway, this is one of the rubbers of the latest TENSOR generation. It has an extreme catapult effect, which makes you smash all the time, rather than playing top spins. Anyway playing Top Spin isn't that great as the balance between spin and speed is mostly based on speed. So on top of that short game is a difficult task with this one.

in short: very good for smashing, incredibly fast, difficult to control. be aware of that before you buy this rubber, i recommend to borrow this rubber from someone beforehand

Review of Andro Revolution Quad 420

To be honest: I'm not a real freind of Andro rubbers, although i can find positive aspects for each of Andro's rubbers, but the QUAD series is just a load of ....
well imagine what i mean.

Now some about the rubber:
the speed glue effect isn't overwhelimg, but it's acceptable. But someone made a horrible mistake while producing this thing or something. I can't help it, whatever you do, you can't produce heavy spin witht his rubber! Anyway, like other Andro rubbers, the balance between speed and spin of this one is bad. Too much speed for a miserable amount of spin.

If you really like the fell of tensor rubbers, don't lay finger on this one, there a lots of better tensor rubbers out there.

This rubber is well suited for agressive blocking and smashing.
it has only little grip, so you do not have to expect it to be spinny. pu shing is bad, as it is not grippy and the ball pops out easily.
you should try other tensors instead

Review of Andro Hexer+

Got it a few days ago and it really doesn't feel as hard as the normal hexer. the sponge looks less like a tenergy sponge and this rubber's pips are not as thin and near to each other in comparism to normal hexer. that's why it might feel softer.

well this one's probably best suited for a mix of loop and smash strokes as it plays very slowly when you just loop using the topsheet. if the ball digs into the sponge its spead will increase remarkably.
the spin it produces is somewhere between baracuda/hexer and older tensors like platin/sinus.

Wow, this is by far the slowest tensor i have EVER played with. it has a decent catapult effect but even good old rubbers like sriver offer the same speed with more spin.
for your information: i played it on a BTY TriCarbon blade which is actually an insanely fast blade, still i couldn't get any speed out of this rubber

Update:

Compared to the catapult effect and speed of tensor rubbers, this one definitively can't compete with tensors. However, it's faster than classical rubbers like a sriver and has a grippy topsheet. It would say, this one is good for topspins and smashs near the table, from mid-distance it is too slow. serves are quite spinny.
the control this rubber offers, is awesome, better than all the tensor rubbers.

btw: the topsheet is quite hard, so this one may feel harder, than medium.

medium fast rubber, with a very soft sponge and good control (expect for blocking).
This rubber can actually do everything but it's not overwhelming in any stroke. Looping is very easy, blocking needs good precision, ecause the throw is VERY high. serves are very spinny.

if you are looking for a rubber that can do everything this one might be a good choice for you.

if this rubber is untuned, it plays like a quite fast classical rubber, just a bit less spinny. if you tune it with lampoil, this baby becomes a weapon, incredibly fast, spinny and loud. however control suffers a lot from tuning, as it gets very bouncy and soft. my rating is for this rubber in untuned state though

this is rubber reminds of boost tx with 2 layers of tuner. it has great spin and a great speed glue feeling. well however short game is extremely difficult due to the strong catapult effect. yet it offers good feeling when your looping or smashing.
in the end i found it hard to handle as i do not attack all the time which is what this rubber was made for.

the low throw gave me a hard time dealing with backspin, any other spin could be looped easily

I'm playing this rubber on the bh, without speedglue. It's not very fast but it gives the ball a lot of spin and you have a lot of control with it. However: if your arm isn't VERY fast while top spinning, the ball will fall into the net, so if you play it unglued you should better do smashes with it.

This was the first tensor rubber i've ever played and i was amazed by it in an instant. Since this rubber has a quite soft sponge, i could feel how and when the ball hits my blade which mediated a good feeling for the ball. Playing topspins was even more fun though. I think this rubebr is good for players who like playing with spin instead of speed. That's what i liked about this rubber.

An excellent rubber for attackers. Controllable in short game, not too fast, serves could be more spinny. However topspins gain a lot of spin, smashes are powerful and fast. When you are away from the table, you should be precise if you attack, because the ball easily flies too far.

PS: This rubber has a good sound if you hit hard enough.

Absolutely amazing for attackers with hard topspin, smashes and precision. In terms of short game it plays slowly and controlable. Serves could be more spinny.

Nice, very nice rubber. It really fixed the problem with previous tensor rubbers: spin
the topsheet is a high-quality product, it has a lot of grip. it felt just as spinny as a tenergy, however it is much easier to play. it is not as bouncy as a platin soft, which i liked a lot, but it still has some catapult effect. my loops and serves gained much more spin than with any other rubber. ESN and Donic really made a nice rubber there. try it

very good rubber for spinny serves and modern defenders.
It offers incredible control, but not much speed.

Well I tried as well offensive, as defensive playing style with this. So here my recommendation:
very good ruber for people who like to focus on control and placement, rather than attacks that kill immediately. For defenders this one is very well suited too. Chopping is quite easy and playing near the table you can do almost everything with the ball. IF you attack with this rubber your top spins will be spinny, but not fast, so you shold either place the ball precisely or you just smash.

I haven't tried this one with a thick sponge yet, as i played it for fun with a 1mm sponge. of course i played some defence with it and it was awesome. well i'm far away form being a defender, however i could chop on loops so that the ball almost touched the edge of the net. and yeah it had tons of spin thanks to the tacky topsheet. i just had problems to chop slow and spinny loops, because they were hard to keep low.
anyway, i guess i will try this one tuned with a 2mm sponge or so, and redo my rating. by the way: getting this much quality for such a low price is absolutely amazing

This rubber isn't one with a lot of psin, but it offers good control and good speed. It's very well suited for attacking: agressive blocking, top spin, smash etc.
In short game it's not overwhelimg, you have good control but as I said, not much spin.

I recommend this for all the attackers who are looking for a speed glue alternative and medium soft sponge.

Review of Palio AK47 Biotech

I got the 38-40Â° version (the one with the black cover, the other one (yellow cover) is the harder version) and it really doesn't play any different from classical rubbers, e.g. Sriver FX. Well it's a bit tacky though, so that you can lift a ball for a second. It offers unbelievable spin, yet it plays incredibly slowly (even with max sponge) due to the very very soft sponge. BUT, for the price it is a great rubber, as it plays similar to rubbers like Sriver FX, Joola Samba or other similar rubbers. However I put it away due to the lack of speed (and the soft sponge).

This is the rubber i have been looking for:
i looked for something, with that you can play hard blocks but also spinny loops.
however, soft loops are a bit more difficult that hard loops, yet both are very spinny. short game is well controllable.

sponge hardness is between Coppa Platin soft and Coppa Platin, so no wonder if got boths attributes: awesome blocking and awesome looping.

great choice for a backhand rubber, for my forehand it's a bit too hard though

tried this on a borrowed paddle, it played different from other tensor. the topsheet looks less fragile and definitely has more grip than other tensor, however it's not as spinny as tenergys or boosts. however in terms of spin this is a great improvement in comparism to other esn-rubbers.

This rubber is incredible. Should be rated "P" for professionals only. For this rubber you need perfect technique, fast legs, power and good feeling. Then you can go all out with your attacks, that will kill everything. However, if you don't happen to be a player like Timo Boll, I suppose you will have a hard time taming this beast. Please take this as an advice: Do yourself a favor and try another rubber instead, this one is pure brutality

genius sound is the softer version of the original genius and by that not as fast as the original. the topsheet of both rubbers is the same: grippy and very elastic

it still plays different from the original, because it has way more catapult effect and the softer sponge

Very hard Sponge, very good for blocking, top spins and chops.
If you look for precision, this is the rubber you need. Top spins have a low throw angle and are fast. Blocks are no problem because of the throw angle
