Avalox Sterco

Review of Avalox StercoThin, elastic and non-tacky but very elastic topsheet, with a soft but very fast sponge, around 35deg. This rubber was designed with the speed glue ban in mind, so it's fast and very spinny on loops, even without speed glue.It has a soft feel and has a bit of a clicky feel, although not as obvious as some of the top tensor rubbers out there. It's an excellent looping rubber and counter looping rubber, and has enough speed to be used unglued for most. A medium hard to hard blade would be most suitable, and not too fast or it may become uncontrollable. A friend compared it closely to Almana sound, but with perhaps a little higher throw... DHS Skyline TG2

Review of DHS Skyline TG2This rubber in great in 1.5mm, with outstanding control and accuracy for blocking and hitting, which is where my high control rating comes from. The tacky surface allows you to generate very good spin on serves easily. In 2.2mm it's not bad for looping, but the sponge feels a little firm, which makes it better for hitting/driving. If you glue it up it becomes much better for looping and is very spinny. Mar 09, 2008

DHS PF4

Review of DHS PF4Most effective and popular as a choppers rubber. With a 1.6mm sponge the control is very good, and allows yo to generate a high amount of spin. This rubber is still popular by some choppers up to quite high levels. Control with thicker sponge drops off quite a bit.Apr 03, 2008

Friendship/729 Higher 3

Review of Friendship/729 Higher 3An outstanding looping rubber, offering very high spin, with good control and decent speed. Glues up very well giving a big boost in speed. Mildly tacky only, but combibed with the japanese sponge generated a huge amount of spin. Quality and quality control is very good, and amoung the best for chinese rubbers.Apr 03, 2008
Galaxy (Yinhe/Milkyway) (1)

Galaxy Venus
Review of Galaxy VenusThe best inverted rubber from Galaxy IMO. It has decent speed unglued, but the sponge react very well to glue or boosters, which makes it fast and very spinny. Although it can generate huge spin, it's much less sensitive to incoming spin compared to other is the same catagory. Use spinmax if you wish to retain the initial tackiness, or play it as a more euro type rubber if not... The 36-38 sponge hardness seems to work best, but other hardness still play very well.Excells at serves and a looping and blocking type game, but it's insenitivity to spin makes it quite suitable to chopping as well, particularly in 2.0mm or thinner. Juic Neo Anti (Anti-spin)
Review of Juic Neo Anti (Anti-spin)This is quite a unique antispin rubber, with some properties not unlike many long pimple rubbers. It has a sensitive and quite slippery topsheet and a very soft and dead sponge. This allows you to generate (or take off) some spin when you dig into the sponge and brush the ball, but reverse the spin when you hit it lightly. This gives you a lot more options than most traditional anti-spin rubbers, which tend to mainly take the spin off with some reversal no matter how you strike the ball.Mar 25, 2008

Juic 999 Elite Nano
Review of Juic 999 Elite NanoMildly tacky topsheet with is thin and highly elastic, offer huge spinning abilities. The Nano-tech sponge is a much softer version of the FAST Couga rubber, which allows it to generate good speed on loops despite the softness of the sponge. Glues up well giving a nice boost in speed. As with all JUIC rubber they are very light! The first tacky rubber with a nano-tech sponge.Apr 03, 2008

Juic Couga
Review of Juic CougaThe fastest rubber from JUIC, and among the fastest rubbers in the world. The throw of the rubber took me a while to get used as it's much lower than my normal rubbers. This is great for blocking and counter looping, and the speed this rubber can generate makes sure most power loops don't come back. Glues up well and this helps generate more spin (which helps control on loops) but is commonly used without glue as well.Apr 03, 2008

Review of Juic ShenronThis rubber was specifically designed to be used with the JUIC Ecolo expander, giving an almost permanent speed glue feel and effect.Apr 03, 2008
