Review of Butterfly CatapultCatapult is a very soft and controllable high tension rubber. It is good for looping, smashing and decent on serves. Really good forehand rubber because it is not abrasive but gives you the power and spin that you need without any loss of control. It allows you too place the ball where you want to. Good feeling. Great rubber for the glue ban.

Review of Butterfly CermetCermet is and excellent and an underrated rubber. Most people stumble on its superb performance. It combines the power of bryce and the feel of catapult. It has good control and is very good and doing almost anything provided you have the technique. The mid-soft sponge and topsheet allow for just enough dwell time to produce loads of spin on loops. Its softness also allows for great smashing as well as more controlled blocks. Serves are spiny and it plays well without speed glue. Great for the glue ban. Also good in mid-distance because of the high tension technology. My favorite rubber for power, spin, and consistency.

Review of Butterfly Sriver ELBest backhand rubber. Great control with good speed and spin for controlled attacking. Serves are also spiny and travel low over the net. Best all-around rubber you could ask for. Drives, loops, and blocks extremely well. Allows you to put the ball anywhere on the table with accuracy.

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 25After much consideration and reluctance I decided to get T25 even though most players use T05 and T64. Because the T25 was so fast and spiny I thought it would be very difficult for me to control. I was wrong. T25 is great close to the table and mid-distance. Loops and drives are a consistent with lots of power and spin. I thought the rubber would die down in the mid to long distance rally but because of the spring sponge technology and the speed rating you can play with it from close or far away from the table. Serves are extremely spiny and those first topspin loops are also easy to execute and have a lot of pace on them. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of control with rubber has. The ball always goes on the table. If you have good technique and strokes T25 will improve your game remarkably and boost your confidence because you can handle whatever is thrown at you. Overall a great rubber especially on an arylate/carbon blade like Michael Maze.

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 05T05 is an excellent rubber. Here is what I have found to be true of this rubber. One, it is not as heavy as others make it out to be. I think the weight it manageable. Two, although the price is high, it is well worth the money. Just make sure you take care of it and it will last a long time. Compared to the T25 the T05 has a slightly softer topsheet and the pimples are smaller. The result is that it is better for a mid-distance game b/c the rubber is springier. Also the T05 is more spiny that the T25 but only slightly. T05 throws the ball higher while T25 has medium-low throw. When I hit and looped with the T05 I had to pulled back just a little and concentrate more on controlling my swing otherwise the ball would go long and off the table. However, loops with T05 are faster than anything I've ever played with. I say this b/c when I was doing a looping drill with my coach the ball was coming back to so fast that I almost didn't have enough time to get ready for the second or third shot. The pace T05 puts on the ball was so dramatic it forced me to be quicker in returning to the ready position. Blocks with T05 are stable and fast. Serves are spiny but the T25 is better for serves and for serve return b/c the low throw angle. Still the spin on the T05 is remarkable and gets the job done just fine. Pushing is also very easy and my pushes have a lower trajectory as well as consistency they did not have before. In my opinion, the T05 is better for backhand b/c it allows you to spin and loop very well as well as block and drives with speed and accuracy. On the forehand it is incredibly powerful but you do have to dial your own personal power down ever so slightly to keep the ball on the table. T25 will give you the same power but better control and placement on the forehand and you can put your all into a shot and 9 times out of 10 it will land. T05. Great rubber. I'm sticking with it.
