Review of Adidas P3

I have to revisit my original post and give more credit to this rubber. On a whim i decided to take my lightly used sheet of P3 and glue it up (with water based glue) since I was starting to get very unhappy with the Donic X2 Platinum soft I was using on my backhand. Hot damn!!! My technique has improved drastically in the past year and let me tell you, adidas is really on to something. Only problem is this rubber is extrememly difficult to find in North America but definately worth it.

Review of Adidas P5

Updating my original post again. Glued P5 up with water based glue on my forehand because Neo Hurricane 3 National (blue sponge) was really getting annoying. You have to constantly tune it and its plays god awful if you don't. P5 is crazy awesome!!! Spinnier than the P3 and just a tad bit slower with a slighly higher throw. I only have it in black but the top sheet appears to be frosted slightly, sorta like some chinese rubbers. I play a forehand dominated game and loop heavily. I really hope this rubber becomes readily available soon because currently its almost impossible to find but its worth it.

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 05

I used this rubber on both sides 2.1 mm briefly before switching to joola express one max. It was an excellent rubber and dramatically improved my game. I was able to instantly adjust to it and couldn't find anything bad about it except the price of course. If you have the money to spend, you will not regret using this rubber. 10/10

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 64

I switched to the tenergy 64 from tenergy 05 on my backhand to get more speed and it definately delievered. 64 is much faster than the 05 with a slightly lower throw. Spin seems the same as 05 as far as I can tell.

Review of Dawei Inspirit Quattro Ultralight SV 35

I've always been a fan of the UL versions of the quattro series and recommend them over the regular inspirit quattro. This is a great rubber for the price however because of the softness of the sponge, you may have a problem bottoming out and hitting the blade. Great choice if you have a brush loop style. But if you prefer to loop drive and loop kill i recommend the harder version, Inspirit Quattro Ultra Light Reg of Power versions.

Review of DHS NEO Hurricane 2

This rubber is alot faster than other people are giving it credit to be. I prefer low throw rubbers for my attacking style game and switched to this from Joola Express 0ne. Very Fast Top spin driving rubber however loops will need to be execuded with a more chinese style open arm swing than a european compact one because compared to tensor style rubbers there is no catapult type effect. Real power comes out when you swing big top spins and drives. You can really here the sponge react when you hit correctly with a "FWAP" type sound lol. Overall, I like it and its onlly $20. This is also an excellend rubber for high spin service game, the rubber has a tremendous amount of grip and tack.

Review of DHS NEO Hurricane 3 Provincial (Orange Sponge)

This rubber is amazing. Great for over the table looping with tons of spin and kick. Off the table top spin driving and driving is controlled and powerful. Major improvement over the commercial version in my opinion with alot more speed too.

Review of Friendship/729 729 OEM

This rubber reacts extremely well to tuning, particularly tuning with paraffin oil. Very economical if your know how to tune your equipment. Untuned however, this rubber is pretty average so make sure to tune this rubber. 2.1mm sponge gives you plenty of room to work with to stay within the legal restrictions for sanctioned play. ;)

The hard tensor sponge
generates a tremendous amount of speed while the soft top sheet allows significant dwell time to generate spin. The throw angle of the rubber is very low so adjustments will need to be made if your not used to that. This rubber can be difficult to control because of the speed but try slowing down your approach swing before contacting the ball to compensate when more
arc is needed for close to the table and under and off the table loops.

Review of LKT Pro XT

This rubber is slow without speed glue because of the super soft sponge. It does produce tons of spin for loops and serves but again its not very fast at all. Just want to point that out because I was surprised to see the high speed average for this rubber and its not that fast.

Review of Palio AK47 Biotech

Recieved a sheet of AK47 biotech as a bday gift. I recieved the black package version. I believe the sponge was labeled 38-39 degrees. Im using this as my backhand rubber on my Joola MC1 which is a off+ blade. Excellent rubber!!! I was a bit skeptical at first because of the slow speed but this rubber has amazing control. It's been said that AK47 plays similar to sriver el and I have to agree in the control aspect but AK47 biotech creates way more spin due to fairly tacky topsheet. I like that this rubber isn't too bouncy though too. It has really allowed me to open up and rip through the ball with my backhand loop.

Review of Palio Thors

Wow!!! This rubber has definately surprised me. I switched to this from DHS Neo H3 Provincial and as much as I try to convince myself that I can play better with the the NEO H3 i really can't. THORS has just as much spin but provides extra speed and kicks like a german rubber. This rubbers amazing!!! 52 - 54 degree german tensor sponge with a sticky chinese topsheet. Deadly combination if you ask me :)
